HOLLYWOOD HD-OD FRAMEWORK

The Hollywood Community Studio:
The Hollywood Community Studio is the local home of the HD-OD project. To learn more about the services and programs offered at the Community Studio, click here.

Shared Vision:
We engage the community in the development of a shared vision for the future of Hollywood, and then help empower the community to implement that vision. We aim to understand the priorities of the community, from better public transportation and access to open space to increased walkability and public safety, and then seek to communicate these priorities to local government and developers.

Individual Growth:
We work to support the existing community by linking residents and small businesses with local opportunity arising out of development, and connecting them with social services to help them meet their personal or professional goals.

Information Exchange:
We monitor physical development and social changes occurring within the HD-OD area, and share the results of our research with the community.

Measuring Success:
We evaluate the impact of redevelopment and public benefit policies within the HD-OD study area, and present our findings in an annual community report card.

What is the plan for individual growth?
HD-OD staff, in partnership with community organizations, will work with residents and businesses to create individual goals, and then help them track progress towards those goals.

What is the Action Plan?
The Action Plan serves as a blueprint to implement the community’s vision for Hollywood.

What are the Measures of Success?
Community members will determine goals that, together, we can work on achieving. These will serve as measures of success for the HD-OD project.
